Everyone knows it's a long leap from your bedroom to the amphitheater. That's why MDR is offering a new opportunity to help songwriters advance their careers. Our Songwriter's Contest is awarding New England's most talented artists by giving them the resources they need to have their voices heard.
Winning songwriters will be awarded with:
- Full Song Workshop
This is your chance to fully workshop your song with Producer/Engineer Mike Davidson. During this process, you'll see your song reach its full potential, preparing it for the studio and beyond.

Additional Information: The Songwriter Contest is intended to help talented songwriters jump start larger projects. Our goal is to support up and coming musicians make great records, whether it's an EP or and a full length. While talent is our #1 qualifier when choosing a contest winner, it's also important to us that our chosen winner be interested in promoting the recordings they make at our studio. It's for this reason we give priority to artists who are planning a larger album project to be made for official release. We reserve the right to reject contestant entries who do not meet the above description.
